Well, it is true that you did not close the bug, but your first answer looked
simply like there is no interest in changing anything. Sorry if this impression
was wrong. I should also admit that I was to some extent confused about the
discussion, because for a long time I was thinking only about the fullscreen
mode, where I really did not see any of the arguments apply. But also for the
non-fullscreen mode I simply have never seen a justification why the bottom bar
has a different priority than other bars. Anyway, I hope the discussion will
come back to a rational one.
