A menu entry
"Settings-> Show Bottom Bar" (as in the patch)
perfectly fits to the other options and is by no means more confusing than to
have the option to show (or not to show) the menu-bar (I like this option
also).
KDE was known to allow more settings than gnome and that's why I like many KDE
applications. Would be a pity if this philosophy has changed.
