Thank you leon to report your experience. I tried to verify your tip, but
unfortunately setting performance to "Low" don't solve my speed problem on my
netbook.
Well, only for curiosity, I tested my pdf on a Centrino Duo, 1Gb Ram, and I had
the same problem, okular is very slow, principally if your pdf have many big
photos re-scaled.
