Summary: Okular sets print margins wrong
Product: okular
Version: unspecified
Platform: SuSE RPMs
OS/Version: unspecified
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: NOR
Component: general
AssignedTo: okular-devel at kde.org
ReportedBy: homoludens1000 at gmail.com
Version: (using KDE 4.2.4)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs
Okular sets the print margins of documents wrong so that parts of the pages are
cut off (concretely, the page to be printed seems to be shifted to the left and
up, thereby cutting off parts on the left and on the top and leaving excessive
whitespace on the right and bottom).
The pdf documents print from from within other applications.
Trying to adjust the printer's properties (format, print margins, etc.)
apparently have NO impact on how pages are printed; they all turn out the same
way (shifted and partly cut off, always the same sections).
Here are some screenshots to illustrate (the page in question is page 5 from an
introduction to OpenOffice-base, available here:
http://documentation.openoffice.org/manuals/userguide3/0108GS3-GettingStartedWithBase.pdf):
