[Okular-devel] Disable ps rendering in dvi file.

Hi,

many dvi viewers can disable the ps rendering, as this slows down the
rendering process.

This is specially usefull when you are viewing a dvi file generated by
latex, and just want to locate small changes.

The initial problem with ps rendering in dvi with okular is that the
rendering time between two pages is not constant;
moreover there is a delay of more than 0.5 sec to get the next page
displayed when ps images are included.

Is there an option to disable ps rendering with dvi format in Okular 0.8.4
kde 4.2.4 , mac os x 10.5.7?

If there is no solution, I guess it should be possible to add a boolean flag
in Okular code around ps rendering (a call to gs?)
to prevent ps rendering and put a blank bounding box instead.
Ideally, it would be nice to be able to click on a blank bounding box and
get the rendering if needed.

Thanks for your work,

S.
