Hi,
I'm a Computer Science student and I was willing to attend the conferences
but I've seen the fees. I don't know whether I misunderstood the fees or
really the focus of this event is different from what I was expecting.

I'm not an active KDE developer (just have reported some bugs ;-) but I
can't afford the 800 euros fee, are business fees the only possibility for me
to attend the event?

Three monts ago or so, I attended the Europe BSD Conference in Amsterdam and
I thought these ones would be kind of the same thing... that one cost me 100
Euros (full-time student fee) which is much an affordable sum for a student
like me. I imagine the Kastle event aims for other purposes: not to let know
KDE to any kind of developers but simply collaborate between those that
already are developers. Anyway if that latter was the intention of the
conferences, I'd like you to consider (if haven't done so) the possibility of
some kind of conferences where contributors and those (like me) who are
simply interested (though may become developers too) could meet in a much
affordable event.

  Thanks for your attention.
