Did you check events.kde.org/info/kastle/participants.html in CVS? It seems 
it's just the confirmation email which looks a bit strange / wrong.
For example in the mail I got there is an entry
  - Special food requirement: no food,

But on the participants.html page everything seems to be correct (no special 
food requirement in my case).

Another example:
In the mail:
  - Participance in social program: + Cesky Krumlov
    + I do not want to take part in the visit tour at all,

  - participance: KDE e.V. meeting,Conference,Workshops/Free Coding
    ,Conference,Workshops/Free Coding,Conference,Conference,Workshops/Free
    Coding,Conference,Workshops/Free Coding,

Again, participants.html has the correct data.
