Hello, plugs, and about this list

Hi all

I saw a message from Philip Scott in the archive enquiring whether anyone else 
from the UK is attending, so yes, I'll be there (flying from Newcastle) from 
Saturday 23 to Wednesday 27, making friends with people I've only ever 
bothered with 'Help how do I do xxx?' questions on IRC and giving Kopete some 
intensive hacking attention.

Reading the thread on plugs, do I understand correctly that a German 
'Schukostecker' is compatible with Czech sockets?

Finally, it would be a good idea if all the people who've registered were 
automatically subscribed to this list - I must have missed the link at the 
events.kde.org page and it isn't shown at the http://lists.kde.org, so I only 
found out about it on IRC.
