Noob here with aspirations to develop a "semantic desktop file explorer" application where you can easily organize and find your files/content semantically instead of through the traditional directory tree explorers.

Question:
What are the chances of developing a Nepomuk-based application for Windows and Mac?

If it is indeed possible, how can it be done; What are the dependencies / prerequisites? What parts need to be built from code? Are there any Linux-specific parts that need to be manually edited/ported?
