question abt Digia's status of Qt

Tried to download Qt for my new macbook pro; and saw the following: "Please
fill out the information below, so you can receive your 30-day free
evaluation and start developing with Qt." on the link :
http://qt.digia.com/Try-Qt-Now/Qt-commercial-evaluation/?platform=mac-os-cpp

Was surprised that unlike earlier where they said "you need commercial
license only if you..." in this case they have made the commercial license
sound almost like a necessity.

What are thje group's comments on this ?
