[Marble-devel] Small intro about myself

Hi,


My name is Calin Cruceru and I am a freshman at "Politehnica" University of
Bucharest. My major at the university is Computer Science and Engineering.

I have started contributing to Marble on February this year and have been
selected to participate in Google Summer of Code with the 'Editing Mode for
Polygons inside Marble' project.

I am going to implement a new feature to Marble, which will allow the user
to draw/edit/customize polygons as well as implement a new editing menu
which will include both polygons editing and overlay editing. The latter
have been implemented during GSoC 2013 but have not been branched to
master, so my work will include adapting this implementation to the master
branch and fix some issues in its functionality. My implementation will
ease the setting up of another important tool (and even requested by some
users): an area calculation tool.

I won't get in any details, you can watch the further evolution of the
project on both planetKDE and my personal blog [1], on which I will post
regularly.
