[Marble-devel] server space for marble data

Dear sysadmin team,

Marble currently uses quite low resolution images for the satellite map theme.
Earlier this year we have compiled freely available satellite imagery into a
unique high resolution map theme. This would increase the resolution of the
satellite theme used in Marble up to 30m/pixel (currently 500m/pixel) at the
equator. In Europe this would allow to see big roads and buildings.

The routing data (atm hosted by Dennis Nienhüser privately) also requires some
additional server space.

For this together we would need approximately 2 TB additional space.

We would like to know what needs to be done to make this possible.

kind regards,
Jens-Michael (on behalf of the Marble team)
