I won't pretend to have my head around the implications of the web version
but why wouldn't it be based on Qt? We already have a lot of quality code
that does and Qt has a bunch of support hybrid applications which embed web
content etc. (QtWebKit).  Is there something implicit in the whole concept
which necessarily leads to your assertion?
