[Marble-devel] Bug with maps (all Windows) and questions

Hi,

I tried the maps with restricted licenses provided here:
http://www.gitorious.org/marble-restricted-maps

Some do crash a fresh Marble 0.8.0 installation on startup (on Windows 7 
that is - i know, i know, probably not your no.1 priority, yet still...):

Steps:
****
- get the Windows installation package
- clone the repository, and copy the definitions to the data/maps folder
- startup Marble
- select the "google satellite" map, or "Virtual Earth", or any other 
map provided -> marble crashes

Is this known?

Applying the maps to a self-compiled newer version of marble (according 
to the "About Marble" screen this is 0.10.0 SVN???) does the same -> crash


I have done Software QA at a big software company in the past, and can 
provide steps if it would help and eventually gets addressed. Also, if 
there is noone in charge (?) for the windows build, I could offer to 
help out on packaging and compiling the Windows side of Marble, if there 
is interest and need.
