You also get an announcement about 800 meters in front of a turn.

I had distance announcements implemented, but disabled them for the releases
since phonon on Maemo is not able to do gapless playback, resulting in output
like "Turn right" ... "after" ... "100" ... "meters" (each ... a silence of
about a second).
