Running;

#qtpaths  --paths GenericDataLocation

gave;

/home/username/.local/share:/usr/share/xfce:/usr/share:/opt/kf5/share

This would indicate that the paths below were correct ?

kate4 ->/usr/share/kde4/apps/katepart/syntax/typescript.xml

kate5 -> /home/username/.local/share/katepart5/syntax/typescript.xml

I am thinking that there could be an error in the typescript.xml located at https://github.com/PrettyFlower/KateTypeScriptSyntaxHighlighting
as it  was last worked on in 2012. KDE / Kate has changed significantly during that time ?

Anybody has a more recent version ?
