Open a file by a kate Script

Hi,

I need a kate plugin that can open a file based on the text under the
current cursor position.
It is intended to open include files. The filename is get from the current
selection or from the cursor position, in this last case the name is
between the first ', or " or < before the cursor and the fisrt ', " or >
after the cursor.

I've created a JavaScript plugin to get the filename as described above,
but I couldn't find any way to open a file in the katepart5 JavaScript API.
Is it possible?

If not, is there any plugin that already have this feature?
