[Kwintv] kdetv +Suse 10.0 +WinTV PVR-350

I have not gotten this system to work with kdetv, much less any other tv
viewer. Have another system that also does not work with pcHDTV 3000
which works with motv. Anyhow, this system has Nvidea 5700 video and the
v4l driver is loaded.
If I open kdetv and do the channel wizard, I am not able to select the
Source: Encloding shows as ntsc. I continue on, select us-cable, then
next, it starts scanning, but finds noting.
I loaded channel suite, comcast San Diego, but selecting a channel does
nothing but change the channel setting window.
Would like some suggestions on how to get this to work. Apparently, from
reading the Suse list, there are a number of people who cannot get this
to work.
