kdetv uses the frequency lists of xawtv for the channel scanner. I just
compared them with xawtv, they are up-to-date. I'd need such a frequency list
with the correct entries. Someone else already reported this issue, AFAIR he
told me this is an issue of your cable provider that is specific to your
region. If you can supply me (or better the xawtv maintainer) with an
appropriate list, I can add it.

Not sure whether I correctly understood what you mean. The "Mousewheel
Behaviour" options in the General settings page are not what you are looking
for?

No, it's too technical, and *really most* users don't need it.

Yes, but the button doesn't hurt. And the clicking may not be intuitive to
some users.

I agree with you, but when I tried to do this change the last time (about one
year ago), there were people on the list taht disliked the behaviour. So I
left it in.

But I'm willing to try again to remove it, so if anyone has objections, speak
up now.

Done.

I agree. The channels are renumbered on loading of the file anyway. I'll have
a look at it.

Yes, e.g. if you scan again because your provider added one channel. It's the
easiest way to get rid of the rest.

OK

Don't know. I don't want to mess with it since I'm not totally aware of the
consequences in all situations

OK

Right

Yes I do ;-)

Thanks again,
