[Kwintv] it worked, now it doesn't...

Hi:

I downloaded the latest CVS of Kwintv, compiled it, installed it and 
everything went fine. I was so happy to have it! Then when I was using it I 
clicked on video desktop. The program crashed, and I couldn't restart it. 
Typing kwintv or qtvision from a terminal would do nothing....

So I tried to remaking it, and reinstalling it. Now it seems the same problem 
happens.  The program is just not there anymore. So I did a search for a 
qtvision executable and found one, I executed it, and the program started. 
However it looked different. It lacked all the icons, and couldn't find my 
tuner....

I have an Avermedia TV Capture 98 card using an ATI radeon 7500 on top of 
Linux Mandrake 9.1. Any help would be appreciated.
