[Kwintv] [Bug 44443] Won't start first time after reboot unti l xawtv is run

Think I=B4ve told about twenty people already how to fix this
one but whatever, here we go again:

To get KwinTV running as user:
Open terminal as root (or su),
Enter: chmod 4755 /opt/kde2/bin/kv4lsetup

KwinTV will start as user from now on.
If you are using the online update as offered on some=20
distributions, and the file kv4lsetup gets updated, you=B4ll
have to reset the permissions again afterwards.

i`ve a similary problem, i could not run kwintv when i was login as =
user,
til i run xawtv. but when i login as root kwintv works fine.
i`m using suse 8.0.
my question is , could you use kwintv when you login as root and what =
distri
to you have?
