Aw: [Kwintv] [Bug 44443] Won't start first time after reboot until xawtv is run

hey jerry,
i`ve a similary problem, i could not run kwintv when i was login as user, t=
il i run xawtv. but when i login as root kwintv works fine.
i`m using suse 8.0.
my question is , could you use kwintv when you login as root and what distr=
i to you have?
