  I don't know if it's possible to create a distribution-independent plugin binary. All GNU/Linuxes differ to some extent.
  All current KWin effects are built in a single file - libkwin4_effect_builtins.so - so I don't have an example of packaging.
  And of course I'll appreciate it a lot more if the plugin gets merged into the KWin itself - even if it's possible to package it separately :)
