"Set Coordinates Manually..." always uses J2000

On the Mac version of Kstars 3.3.7 it appears that "Pointing->Set Coordinates Manually..." always treats my input at J2000 even if I select the JNow button.  I thought it worked properly in 3.3.6 but I get the same wrong behavior there as well.  I'm running 10.14.6 Mojave.  Do others have this issue or do you think I have something messed up in my settings?
