[Kstars-devel] Print Wizard

Yep, we have applied for GSoC this year. If we get a slot, we will ask
selected student to provide description of his project for this mailing
list. We will also apply to participate as a mentoring organization in
SoCiS 2014 (http://sophia.estec.esa.int/socis2014/). If you have any ideas
for projects (apart from those improvements to the printing wizard), they
would be more than welcome :-)

I can only say that finishing OAL logging support will be a priority for me
during this summer. I think that proper logging support should consist of
two parts:
- Note-taking - for quick and dirty notes, with only a basic additional
fields, such as date, observed object and (maybe) seeing conditions.
- Proper, more "scientific" logging - this is where the OAL format kicks
in. It is an XML format, with many additional fields for storing session
information (weather, conditions etc.), site information (location etc.)
and also all the data on observed objects. Obviously, not all that fields
are required, so it can also be used for simpler and quicker notes.

What is your opinion on that?

Please excuse my late responses.

Cheers!
Rafal
