I'm not sure, but a better solution is to download kdesrc-build and
let it build KDE with you. Just make sure to customize it to build up
until kdelibs (as the others like kdebase..etc is not really necessary
for KStars).

At this stage, there is not much to test, it just supports
connect/disconnect at this stage :) But I'll start adding
functionality to it very soon as I really need it to work well with my
astrophotography gear.
