[Kstars-devel] serial to USB

Hello,

perhaps I'm stating the obvious below, but anyway:

INDI in KStars doesn't downgrade the USB port automatically to communicate
with a serial device.
Obviously, this results in failure to control the telescope (or rather, the
mount) because the serial connection is flooded, and nothing gets through
(both ways).

I report this because many mounts (mine included) have RS232-like serial
connections, but many modern computers have abandoned these (in favour of
USB ports).
A serial-to-USB cable won't work unless the USB port is set to communicate
at a lower rate.

Perhaps this is something to be included in the INDI-settings of KStars, or
at least as a note in the KStars manual?
