Hello all,

long time ago i wrote a java-app that retrieves MPC data and stores it
in a KStars readable format.
I wrote it primarily for automatic updating of comet data and
therefore i didn't really test the asteroid conversion code intensely
(i think no one did. ;-) i did only some basic tests).
This month i had some time to port the java code to c#/gtk and as well
to c++/Qt and during this porting i found a severe bug in the asteroid
conversion code (the comet stuff works as it should).

Everyone who uses my app (and needs asteroid positions) should
download the new version.

There is a new command line option for easy KStars data download. just
type
java -jar mpcreader.jar --kstarsonly:true
and all the data will end up in the default KStars directory.

The c#/gtk version comes with a basic gui (it's a wrapper around the
command line version, same options as the java version).

And at last, the (utterly minimal) c++/Qt-GUI does the same as the
java "--kstarsonly:true" version.
Hit the "fetch data" button and the converted data ends up in the
KStars directory (you should start the app from the command line to
get some log-messages).

Maybe this version is of use for someone who would like to integrate
the downloading and conversion stuff direct in KStars. Thus i will not
add a improved GUI.
