[Kstars-devel] KStars community message boards

Hello,

I have created web forums for KStars that I am hosting myself. The
address is:

http://kstars.30doradus.org/

Please check it out, and sign up if you like. The boards won't thrive
without content, so post if you think of something.

I'd like feedback on some things:

1) Does that address work for you? When I try using Firefox(Mac), I get
   directed to the wrong page (http://marvin.as.arizona.edu/index.html);
if this happens to you *please* let me know by replying to this message.
You can get to the forums by appending "index.php" to the above URL.
(I've actually also gotten to the right page by reloading, which is
really weird)

I've tried in Safari, IE(Mac) and Konqueror(Mac) and these browsers all
find the correct location.

2) Let me know if you are interested in helping out by becoming a forum
moderator.

3) Forum Topics...too many? any others?

4) How to announce the forums? Once we on the list use it for a while
and work out any kinks, I'll post a news item on our webpage. Is it
worth a kstars-announce mailing list post? dot article?

thanks,
Jason
