I fully agree.  I don't know how to catch when the constellation names
get changed so I will have to wait for further hints from you.  If I
can learn how to catch those events then I would also like to trigger
a redraw after any change is made on the guide menu page.  As it stands
now, the user must zoom or move the skymap in order to see the results
of their changes made there.  I think it would be much slicker for the
redraw to always happen right after the user hits "Okay" or "Apply".

I am not in a great rush to implement this, so I will gladly wait
until it is convenient for you.  This will also give me some time
to finish getting the rest of the names into hip001.dat.

Maybe I'll even try installing QT4.
