Yes, I need to fix this.  I've been out of town this week, so hopefully 
next week I'll hack something up.

Creating the "default" package was supposed to be a Data Team task.  So 
far, no one has stepped up to offer help, though.  Maybe we should give 
people more time to find out about it before we "real" devs fill in. 
After all, we won't *need* a default set until the next release.
