Hello Jason,
I also expected to have more time. I have almost completed a new calculator
module but I have not been able to finish it since I am still recovering from
(minor) health problems. If I feel better I will commit it tomorrow.
For 3.3 I wanted to
- - include 3 new more calculator modules (I have commited one and almost
finished the second).
- - Include a graphical tool for using personal star catalogs. I still do not
have any idea how this can be acomplished.
- - Include the possiblity to represent radio objects. One italian colleague
asked me for that. But he said that KStars is not prepared for radio sources,
because the paramaters are different. For radio sources one would tipically
need flux, minor and major axis of an ellipse which represents the source
shape and PA for the major axis, plus catalog coordinates. I would need some
orientation on how to implement this and where.
- - Include the possibility to represent the beam of a radiotelescope on the
sky, be it single dish or an interferometer.
Taken into account here are 20 days left I am not sure I will be able to
acomplish all these.
