[Kstars-devel] ETX105AT connection mechanism?

Hi All,
I have everything running now but no connection to the telescope yet. I
have ETX105AT autostar from Meade, Redhat 9, Kdelibs 3.2.3, QT 3.3, KDEEDU
3.2.2.
My way to connect the scope is follows. Please correct me if I am doing
something wrong in between. I havent played around with the telescopes
before, this is my first time.

1.Switched on the telescope and made it point at some star. Cables
connected to both autostar and PC's serial port ttyS0.

2.I took Indilibs 0.2, ran indiserver -v -r 0 -p 8000 lx200autostar.

3.Started KStars,device manager->Client tab. I fill in the host as
127.0.0.1 and port as 8000. It gets connected and I see the log report on
the console

3.Then Indi Controlpanel. I write the port ttyS0 and press Connect. It
gives me a message:
2004-06-15T10:59:00 Error connecting to Telescope. Telescope is offline.

I tried the same procedure with other lx200 variants such as lx200generic,
lx200classic. I checked the port settings, its fine with permissions and I
am logged in as root.
Can anyone suggest me something on this? I desperately want it now to
control the telescope.
