Hi Barth,
Just in case it's relevant: getdata is getting some attention lately and is
probably about to release 0.12.0. There's no new code, but the CMake build
infrastructure should be approximately at feature parity with autotools (so
native Windows builds will be able to use code that was formerly out of
reach.)
