In the matrix case, I am indeed constantly appending data...

As opposed to the vector case...
where my application is constantly regenerating my ascii file.

It's a real time application that analyze incoming files (seismic data)
and dumping column of numbers characterizing the file.

The version that crashes is kst 1.5, I dont think I have seen kst 2 actually
crashed.
