Yes, I always use 0 and 1 and the cmake doc sys this:

"True if the constant is 1, ON, YES, TRUE, Y, or a non-zero number. False if the constant is 0, OFF, NO, FALSE, N,
IGNORE, "", or ends in the suffix '-NOTFOUND'. Named boolean constants are case-insensitive."

Should be fixed now. I'm glad you brought up this problem, I use
such merge files since several years and always had the problem not having
the sources in the project. Now you've triggered the idea how to fix this!
