Wait a minute! I have just tried this, and actually the problem does not
come from the drag pixmap, but from the D&D event itself whereby the
resizing of a plot by clicking on one of the blue squares is almost
impossible. In fact, it does only a few pixels at a time.

And now, I have just seen you changed that again, and D&D no longer
works in layout mode :-( I think we have to clarify this.
