That popped into my head as I was clicking send.
If you commit a log by pressing a button, the button could change
somehow (glowing, grey, whatever) indicating that it's working and goes
back to normal upon sucess. If it's a menu item, perhaps an icon would
appear in the lower right status bar. Upon failure, I think the
existing kst warning/error system should be used so that when people
click on the icon a hopefully useful error message appears.
