[Kst] [Bug 92147] Using filters in equations is difficult

I vote for #3 right now-- It seems that any user interface which we can come
up with won't be much easier than just creating the plugin separately.

#1 is also good- but it would be nice to have a reminder that we should do
something about this code in the future (possibly just remove it).
