Is that the same thing as Ted wanted to do (see "Kst2DRenderer +
Refactoring proposal" e-mail sent to the list on Oct. 24th 2005) ? 
If so, I believe he has patches lying around and a design for it so that
it would be nice to coordinate with him. Maybe that's already the case,
or I've just misunderstood the intent here... In any case, now that a
branch is open I guess work is going to progress nicely :-)

P.S.: is there a date for 1.3.0 ? It seems to me to be quite stable
right now, and I think we should release it to spread it to a much
larger audience. We can make a 1.3.1 release quickly if the larger
audience catches bad bugs...
