For points 3) (ensuring metadata name uniquity) and 4) (changing the
name of metadata, making sure it updates when required, accessing its
parent file) I will send a more detailed mail to the list so we can get
comments or create a new doc in devel-docs if it is more appropriate to
not bother people subscribed to the list. In any case, I have noted that
this won't be in 1.3.0 :-( But never mind, 1.3.1 is just around the
corner :-)
