[Kst] Updates

Could you give some more detail on how, for example,
an update would get propagated through if I change
the color of a curve. In particular where the curve
exists in multiple plots in multiple windows.

I checked in an updates.txt file which describes in very brief, point form,
what will be changed in the update system in the near future.  If anyone
needs more detail or has questions or concerns, please mail the list.  I am
still DSL-less at the moment so it may take me quite some time to respond.
