   Ok that's the biggest problem then.

   My personal preference is SuSE 9.2/9.3 Pro, but FC3 would be a reasonable 
upgrade path for you.

    There are probably upgrade packages for RH9 to have KDE 3.2 or 3.3 on it.  
I'll try to look into it later today.
