[Kroupware] Storing hashed passwords in LDAP?

Hi,

A question was asked last November concerning the possibility of storing 
hashed passwords in LDAP - see http://eforum.de/viewtopic.php?t=50

Is this possible? We're migrating from a Netscape Messaging server and 
would like to automatically carry across the existing accounts. But to 
insert them into the OpenLDAP database, the passwords need to be 
presented in plaintext. The Netscape server only stores a SHA1 hash.
