[Kroupware] SMTP TLS Auth problem

Hi all Kolab gurus ;-)

I'm having trouble authentication to smtp with TLS. The send method in kmail 
is configured with encryption TLS and the authentication method to LOGIN and 
I think I have tried all other combinations too...

Can't find any hints in the kroupware ml archives so I hope you can help.

SASL is compiled as per the QIM and http://intevation.de/pipermail/
kolab-devel/2003-July/000529.html but to no avail.
