Aha, oke , I thought the UID was just an unique ID for referencing
as login name,
and not by definition allso a valid emailaddress 
and that the field email-address was the default email address.

Oke , so this might explain why some users do not show up in virtual , when
their UID and email address are the same, allthough others do allso when
their email addres and UID are the same.

Oke , so it is the kolab script that updates virtual . 
Combined with the info from Diether , I can now check whether
ldap has updated e.g. alias/email-address changes and 
if kolab has updated that correctly to virtual.
