[Kroupware] Initial Password Prob

Hi,
I have just compiled and installed the complete ftp download from
kolab-current. 
rc.monit has been startet and slapd ist running, but when entering the
provided password into any browser (netscape-4.7, mozilla-1.3,
opera-6.1) a connection is beeing refused. Same with a simple bind as
rootdn with rootpw to slapd.
I could easyily change rootpw with slappasswd, but is the initial
password stored in any other place which has to be changed als well?
