[Kroupware] install problems suse 8.1

Hi,
to have samba working with ldap on my box, i need the package cyrus-sasl (v1, not v2) from my suse system. but when this is installed, the kolab-postfix is not working:

why is this interfering the postfix/kolab install? i don't understand it. this is with beta 2.1. 
the rc1 is not even starting, while installing it can't start ldap temp on port 7777. openldap is saying

please help, i don't want to format my suse system, since there is so much work in it. what can i try? i also tried installing the postfix src rpm from the rc1 into the beta2.1 - same problem.
