I just installed the latest version of Kolab server (which I downloaded
about 5 days ago) on Debian. I moved my old /kolab and
/etc/init.d/kolab files out of the way and installed via sh
openpkg....sh and /kolab/bin/rpm -ivh *.rpm and
/kolab/etc/kolab/kolab_bootstrap -b and filled in the info. It created
everything in LDAP correctly, and I ran /kolab/etc/rc.d/rc.kolab start
which worked perfectly this time (last time I tried, I ran
/etc/init.d/kolab start and it had all sorts of problems). However,
when I go to work with the IMAP server in either kmail or evolution, I
get "Unalbe to authenticate to IMAP server". And of course, before
running either of the mail clients, I ran konqueror and surfed to
http://localhost and logged in as manager and created a user account. I
noticed that there is no longer a Primary UID field. Could that
potentially have anything to do with this problem?
