[Kroupware] Kolab User Management

Hi,

My question concerns the user management. As I saw it's possible to let
normal users not appear in the addressbook. As well, it's possible to
create addressbook entries which do not correspond with a user. (Actually I
didn't try out these things but I'm concluding from the web interface's
options.)
Now I'm wondering how the handling of maintainers resp. administrators is
meant to be. Let's say I have my own entry as user (including all the
attributes like organization, street etc.). Let's say I need also a
maintainer account. Then I'm not able to give my existing user entry
maintenance rights, but I have to create a new (maintainer) entry with a
separate ID.
Now this new entry appears when accessing the LDAP server with LDAP clients
like kaddressbook or mozilla. I don't think this is a good solution. The
LDAP server should provide user resp. address information but not internal
information about the administration of the system. It would be sufficient
to have a checkbox like for users and addresses to hide them. Is there any
chance to get this built into kolab?

Another question: There is the kolab resp. kroupware web page. I was
watching it for some time, but it seems, absolutly no work is done there.
I'm missing information about the current state, about the migration path
e.g. from Kolab RC1 to 1.0, planed dates etc. Are there other places where
I can obtain these pieces of information from?

TIA,
Andreas
